Coral Coast

The Coral Coast stretches over approximately 80 kilometers along the southern coast of Viti Levu — from Natadola Beach in the west to Pacific Harbour in the east. It is the most touristy coast of the main island and offers an excellent mix of beaches, culture, nature, and infrastructure.

Natadola Beach

Fiji's most beautiful beach on the main island: a wide arc of white sand, lapped by turquoise waters. Natadola Beach is regularly listed as one of the top beaches in the South Pacific. The waves are gentle enough for swimming, locals offer horseback rides on the beach, and there's a beach restaurant with cold Fiji Bitter. Best visited during the week — locals come on weekends too.

Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park

Fiji's first national park protects a unique ecosystem: sand dunes up to 60 meters high along the mouth of the Sigatoka River. Archaeologists have found pottery shards and remains here that are up to 2,600 years old — evidence of the Lapita culture, Fiji's first settlers. A hiking trail (1–2 hours) leads over the dunes to the sea. Admission: approx. 15 FJD.

Sigatoka Valley

The Sigatoka Valley inland is known as the "Salad Bowl of Fiji" — much of the country's vegetable and fruit production is grown here. A trip into the valley offers insight into rural Fiji: sugarcane fields, small villages, and a landscape that looks surprisingly different from the coast.

Kula Wild Adventure Park

The best place to learn about Fiji's unique wildlife: iguanas (the rare Fiji Crested Iguana!), turtles, tropical birds, and a breeding program for endangered species. Especially recommended for families. Admission: approx. 55 FJD for adults, 35 FJD for children.
